It gives us immense pleasure in inviting you to attend the 12th annual conference of Maharashtra State Branch of IRIA – The UltraFest 2023 to be held from 28th to 30th April 2023 at Pune. Pune is famous for its academic culture and today it is knows as educational hub and is also known as ‘Oxford of the East’.
UltraFest has gained a lot of appreciation by its attendees in past 11 years and has become the signature event of MSBIRIA focusing on delivering pure relevant academics & learning experience to radiologists in their day-to-day practice.
Scientific deliberations will be one of the most important facets of the conference. The best-known luminaries of Radiology will enlighten our attendees with their dedicated work & vast experience. Our theme for the conference is “Expanding Horizons, Legacy Continues”. The scientific program has been planned to hold the interest of its attendees through detailed demonstrations, discussions & debates.
Hospitality, comfort and venue are as important for delegates as the academics. We are quite sure that our gastronomical bonanza coupled with energising entertainers will add to the overall experience of our delegates. We’ll have opportunities for delegates to socialise, meet old friends and make new friends, create memories, have fun and enjoy the conference. Paper-Poster Guidelines
The organizing committee invites and encourages residents to share their experiences and knowledge by submitting their abstracts at the upcoming UltraFest2023 Conference in Pune. Please submit your abstracts in the prescribed format latest by 31st Jan 2023. Registration is mandatory for abstract submission.
The topic should be related to the conference – Ultrasound Imaging must include in the presentation. Along with the Ultrasound, authors can also show CT, MRI, and other studies. Original Research studies, case reports, case series, or Educational exhibits can be submitted for presentation.
The abstract for the scientific paper should be structured abstract in the following headings:
- Objective
- Material and Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Abstract for a scientific poster (including Case report and Educational Exhibits) should be structured in the following headings:
- Background
- Learning objective
- Imaging findings
- Conclusion
- A maximum of 4 authors (including co-authors) are allowed.
- Abstract should be submitted in a maximum of 250 words. It should be submitted in Microsoft Word Document format.
- One can send more than one abstract for paper/poster.
- Presenting author has to register for the conference.
- Oral paper presentation will allot 8 minutes time for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion (total of 10 minutes)
- E-Paper, Posters, and Educational Exhibits will be presented in Power point presentation in 10 slides
- Patient confidentiality must be protected. Identifying information should not be visible on the images and presentations.
- Content should be checked for plagiarism.
- Authors should declare the Conflict of interest.
- The last date for abstract submission for paper/ poster is 31st Jan 2023.
- The scientific committee shall review all the abstracts. Abstracts will be selected for oral papers and E-papers on the merit of Content, novelty, and innovation. Abstracts selected for oral papers will be presented orally by the presenting author during the conference.
- E-posters and Educational Exhibits will be displayed as PowerPoint presentations during the conference.
- The acceptance of the abstract with a type of presentation and further guidelines will be notified by e-mail to the presenting author by 15th February 2023.
- After the acceptance of the Abstract, the corresponding author will get a notification of the decision and further date for the submission of the power point presentation.
- Decisions of the scientific committee regarding presentations shall be binding.
- There are attractive prizes for the best Paper and Posters.
