RAKSHA AURANGABAD
In order to create awareness about health and Sanitation in adolescent girls, Aurangabad chapter of MSBIRIA under Raksha team distributed hygiene kits containing three packets of sanitary pads, a soap , deworming tablets and Iron tablets for a month to nearly 40 orphan girls at Savli Ashram Aurangabad. The importance of hygiene and anemia correction was also explained. Raksha committee’s mission to educate the girl child was also supported through distribution of stationary material to these girls The program concluded with distribution of healthy snacks. It is such a pleasure to join hands for a noble cause. The activity was attended by Aurangabad chapter president Dr Prasanna Mishrikotkar , Dr Sonali Saboo national team member Raksha committee , Dr.Meeta Chitnis and Dr Priyanka Pansambal City coordinators for Raksha . Few other enthusiastic lady radiologists of Aurangabad also joined the event .
Aurangabad chapter of MSBIRIA conducted an activity of helping the under privileged kids with stationery items. We helped 100 kids from slum areas going to a small school at remote location in the periphery of Aurangabad with kits each containing set of 6 notebooks , Drawing books , Pencil boxes , Eraser , Sharpener and a box of crayons . We also distributed snacks for their breakfast. Smiles on their faces were so satisfying and a treat for the eyes.

AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV
Celebrating ” AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” Aurangabad Chapter of MSBIRIA and Raksha committee of IRIA distributed 75 hygiene kits and 155 stationary kits to needy girls of standard 5th to 10th in a school of under privileged kids from slum areas.

Aurangabad representatives of Raksha , Dr Shilpa Satarkar , National coordinator for Samrakshan , Dr. Manjusha Atkare , Dr. Priti Jadhav , Dr. Rinku Palaskar and Dr. Shubhangi Shetkar, all senior and leading radiologists of Aurangabad. We all owe a lot to the society and this was just a small initiative towards it. This celebration of “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV ” created a wave of happiness and patriotism amongst us.
